- A: The initial sign-up process takes less than 10 minutes. No installation or additional setup is required; simply log in to your 3D-Eye Home account to start using the email tool.
- Q: What happens when I send an email from the email tool?
- A: Your patient will receive an email with a personalized greeting from your practice as well as a list of prescribed animation topics. The patient can launch the 3D-Eye Home application and view recommended animations by clicking the "Launch" button. No animations or applications are included in the email itself.
- Q: Can I send to multiple email addresses with the email tool?
- A: Yes, you can either separate the addresses by a comma or upload a .csv or .txt document to utilize the mass email functionality.
- Q: Can I put a link to 3D-Eye Home on my website?
- A: 3D-Eye Home can only be distributed specifically by the doctor to the patient via email. We offer another product, 3D-Eye Online, for use on your website. Please contact Eyemaginations for more information.
- Q: Can patients use a dial-up or network connection to access 3D-Eye Home?
- A: 3D-Eye Home requires a high-speed internet connection. If your patients are accessing 3D-Eye Home from a busy network, the number of computers sharing the network connection can affect performance.
- Q: Can patients use a mobile phone or PDA to access 3D-Eye Home?
- A: The current version of 3D-Eye Home is not intended to be used from a mobile phone or PDA.
- Q: What do my patients need in order to view the content?
- A: Your patients will need to have the Flash Player installed on their computer as well as a high-speed internet connection. Patients can download the latest version of the free Adobe Flash Player here. Note: Flash Player is installed on 98% of Internet-enabled desktops worldwide and on a wide range of popular devices.
- Q: Do I have to log in to use the email tool?
- A: You need to be logged in to your Eyemaginations account to access the 3D-Eye Home email tool.
- Q: Can I personalize my account password?
- A: When creating your 3D-Eye Home account, you can choose any password you like. If you’ve forgotten your password, visit the account login page to send yourself a password reminder.
- Q: Can I bookmark the email tool for quick and easy access?
- A: The email tool cannot be directly bookmarked because your 3D-Eye Home admin account requires a user login. Closing your browser or logging out of your account will require you to login again for security reasons. For busy practices: bookmark the account login page and leave your email tool open in a dedicated tab or browser window once logged in.
- Q: Is 3D-Eye Home available in any other languages?
- A: We plan to offer additional languages in the future.
- Q: Can I purchase 3D-Eye Home if I am outside of the United States?
